Toole’s Garage is a full-service automotive maintenance and repair shop, with specialized expertise in hybrid systems, and services gasoline, diesel and electric vehicles. Dave Toole was a Master Honda Technician when he opened his first shop in San Carlos, in 2009, and we’ve enjoyed unparalleled customer loyalty, backing almost all of our work with a 3 year/36.000-mile warranty.

Mark Berger grew up on the SF Peninsula and is an alum of Serra High, University of California and Chuck’s Donuts. His Dad was an automotive engineer and shade-tree mechanic who taught him a reverence for machines and how to fix what he crashed. He really likes buffets, hound dogs, Honda Elements and his wife (and she’s gaining). Mark began his career in training and operations in the medical services field, then in educational publishing, automotive service and sales, and wholesale produce. He joined the Toole’s Garage family after more than a decade as a customer, so it took him at least six months to earn back all the money he’d spent there. He’s currently General Manager and oversees business operations for the group of auto repair shops in San Carlos, Valley Springs, Stockton and Jackson.
